The 5th Suzhou Robotics Industry Development Summit & 2025 Embodied Intelligent Robotics Ecosystem Conference concluded successfully in Suzhou on April 3, 2025. Under the theme “Robotics+, Leading the Future with Intelligence,” the event gathered government officials, academic institutions, financial organizations, and industry leaders to explore cutting-edge advancements in embodied intelligent robotics. Suzhou Leanstar Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. emerged as a dual award winner, securing the “2024 Suzhou Robotics Technology Innovation Award” and the “2024 Suzhou Robotics+ Application Excellence Award,” solidifying its leadership in flexible tactile sensing.
Award-Winning Innovations: Redefining Robotic Perception with Flexible Sensing
Leanstar’ award-winning flexible piezoresistive/capacitive hybrid e-skin sensor addresses industry pain points of low sensitivity and environmental fragility. Leveraging nano-material hetero-integration technology and large-area printed electronics manufacturing, the sensor achieves dynamic force detection across 0.1N-50N with millisecond-level response and multi-dimensional tactile signal capture. Mass-produced for humanoid robot grippers, medical exoskeletons, and industrial cobots, it enhances human-robot interaction precision and safety.
The “Robotics+ Application” award recognized Leanstar’s collaborative project with a leading robotics company: a flexible tactile array system featuring 2,048 tactile pixels (2mm² resolution) that map real-time pressure distribution. Integrated with AI algorithms, the system enables material recognition and adaptive grasping force control, boosting efficiency by over 30% in logistics sorting and precision assembly scenarios.

Honors as a Catalyst: Powering the Human-Robot Symbiosis Era
“These awards validate our ‘technology + application’ dual-drive strategy and fuel our mission to pioneer the future of flexible perception,” stated the CEO. Moving forward, Leanstar will focus on:
Technology Breakthroughs: Partnering with the Suzhou Institute of Nano-Tech (CAS) to develop self-powered sensing solutions(e.g., triboelectric/sweat-sensing hybrids), addressing robot energy constraints;
Ecosystem Collaboration: As a founding member of Suzhou’s Humanoid Robot Alliance, co-building full-stack “sensing-decision-action” solutions;
Global Expansion: Accelerating overseas market entry with support from investors like Xiaomi Yangtze River Industry Fund, promoting Chinese flexible sensing standards worldwide.
